Safety

  1. Approach Carefully: Always approach a horse slowly and from the front so they can see you coming.

  2. Speak Softly: Horses can get scared easily, so talk to them in a calm and gentle voice.

  3. No Sudden Movements: Avoid sudden movements or loud noises that might startle the horse.

  4. Stay in Safe Spots: Always stay where the instructor tells you it's safe, like beside the horse, not directly behind.

  5. Wear Proper Gear: Wear a helmet and sturdy shoes when you're around horses to protect yourself.

  6. Follow Instructions: Listen carefully to your instructor and follow their directions so everyone stays safe.

  7. Be Respectful: Treat the horse kindly and with respect, just like you would want to be treated.

Remember, horses are big and powerful animals, so it's important to be cautious and respectful when you're near them.
