Itinerary
Friday, May 29 – Drive to Jasper
9:00am Depart TRU
Drive through Clearwater, Blue River, Valemount, and Jasper.
Visit Rearguard Falls, Mount Robson, Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls and see amazing lakes along the way..
(picnic lunch included – build your own wraps/sandwiches)
7pm Arrive at Beauty Creek Wilderness Hostel
(Note: you will change time zones from Pacific to Mountain time)
(Group BBQ dinner included)
Saturday, May 30 – Train ride to Kamloops with Via Rail
(Breakfast included: Pancakes with real Maple Syrup)
7:00am Depart Beauty Creek Wilderness Hostel
8:00am Jasper
9:30am Train to Kamloops: Pass by Moose Lake, Mount Robson, and beautiful scenery
7pm Kamloops
SPECIAL NOTICE
At many wilderness locations there are no flush toilets and no running water. Outhouses (pit toilets) are common in remote locations. We will stay overnight in a rustic wilderness location so be prepared for limited facilities.
Accommodation is dormitory style. At Beauty creek, the group will share one large dorm with multiple bunkbeds. Consider bringing earplugs and eye mask.
